Que tal um bom vinho e uma boa massa.

Uma macarronada com queijo fica maravilhoso e n茫o vai te custar horas de cozinha, nem te fazer errar o prato.

Boa sorte.

Making Friends

Brasilian
Cesar salad

spaghetti

garlic bread

buy a dessert from your supermarket like cheese cake.
Firstly you need an entree the whole point of a romantic dinner is you want it to last a while so do three small courses. here are the most popular couples meals from my old restaurant and they are heaps easy.

entree. garlic prawn vol au vents.(10 min)

green prawns (uncooked) peel leave top of the tail intact

vol au vent case (avalible at any suppermarket) dont get them to big just medium.(6 cases)

crushed garlic (fresh is best but what ever you got)(2Tbl)

cream (200ml)

baby spinach (100g)

heat pan to medium heat .add oil then prawns.

cook prawns for about 1 min.

add garlic then add cream reduce cream until thick. add bit of black cracked pepper.

heat vol au vents in oven

place baby spinach in vol au vents(if using small leafed varieties of spinach do not cook just put it in as the sauce will heat it for you when you top the vols with sauce)

top with prawns and sauce.

MAIN

nothing is better than spagghetti meatballs in a rich italian sauce.(20 min)

spagghetti (cooked as back of packet) (1/4 pkt)

a good quallity tin canned tomatoes

tomato paste (3 Tbl)

meatballs (avalible from most supermarkets in freezer)

garlic (1/2tsp)

oregano to taste

basil ';

onion 1 sliced

heat pan sautee onion add tommatoes and paste.

cook for about 10 min then add herbs and meatballs

cook until meatballs heated through add cooked spaghetti

serve.

DESSERT

chocolate fondue with marshmellows and fruit (10min)

good quality chocolate.every girl has a favourite chocolate if its a bar of chocolate like mars or tobelarone get a plain chocolate block as well so you can melt it.

and cream.

add chopped chocolate and cream in a glass bowl it must be dry or chocolate will go chunky and nasty

heat until smooth. the cream is what will stop the chocolate setting but dont add too much.

pour chocolate in one bowl and surrond the bowl of fondue with chunks of fruit and marshmellows and let them share. how romantic.

everything except the heating of the vol au vents can be done in advance. i hope this was helpful.
Italian Pasta dishes are usually very romantic...and simple to make too! Make sure you match up a bottle of wine to match the dish, whether you choose a tomato sauce, pesto, alfredo, wine sauce are all simple choices, then you pich the noodle...like linguini, farafal, twists, spaghetti,etc.. last but not least pick a protein for the top, you can use ground beef, lamb or turkey, shrimp, tofu, chicken...the possibilities are endless, have fun!
CRAB SPAGHETTI

8 oz. pkg. spaghetti

1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup

1 c. milk

3 tbsp. butter

1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

1 lb. crab meat (I use imitation)

1 tsp. black pepper

1/4 c. sherry

Dash Worcestershire

Cook spaghetti and drain. Heat soup, add milk, butter and 3/4 of the cheese to make sauce. Pour over cooked spaghetti. Add crab, pepper, sherry and Worcestershire. Mix gently. Pour into greased casserole (2 quart). Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serve with a lettuce salad and garlic toast.
