Do your chores and extra stuff *without* being asked or reminded.





Get your grades up.





Get a goldfish and a houseplant and keep them both alive and well maintained. Do not point out for at least 3 months that you have done that, and then only point it out if they haven't caught it.





Generally, make your parents wonder when the aliens came and took their kid, and if they are coming back or if they get to keep the new and improved model.

Start cleaning the house and doing chores without asking. Offer to take care of your friends' dogs to show them exactly how responsible you would be with them. You might also want to make a deal with them like saying, '; You can take so and so away from me if I don't take care of my dog.';

When you ask them, don't go straight in with yelling or childish words - say to them that you understand their point of view, that you may not be able to look after a dog, but that's what you want to learn - the responsibility of looking after something that is alive. Ask them to help you - by reminding you - and promise not to get mad or put it off when you're told to feed or wash it.





Tell them that this is how you want to learn to be responsible. You don't have to already BE responsible to look after a dog - you have to be willing to learn.
well my parent r very easily annoyed as well. but its hard to get annoyed by simply writeing a not or an email. just rember to ask nicely. (and a quick bit of advice if they do say yes. go to a adopition center. there cheaper and ull b doin the rite thing.
write an essay, it shows your responisble to try and get what you want. and it shows that you did yourn reasearch on the pet that you want

If your parents get annoyed over everything, they will certainly get annoyed at a dog they didn't want. Don't get one, its not fair to the dog.
Have you tried to keep on asking them. If you have. Then try dogsitting your neibor's dog or someone in your neiborhood's dog.
