How can i convince my parents to get me another dog for my birthday?

I really want a dachshund puppy for my birthday which is in a couple of weeks and I already have a dog which I take care of all the time and i would really like a dachshund puppy for my birthday please help me to convince them and where can I get a cheap dachshund puppy?How can i convince my parents to get me another dog for my birthday?

Animals are like children they depend on you for everything and they need love and attention are you sure you're ready for another dog? Why do you want another dog when you already have one that probably needs you.

Be careful with a dachshund. We had one and from her jumping on the furniture her back end became paralyzed. We had to put her to sleep and it was heart breaking. If you get one be careful with it! Good luck!
Unless it's in the family budget and the dog you already have is the PERFECT DOG, then you're looking at a long shot.
what's wrong with the other dog? Why isn't the other dog ';enough'; ? What happens when you go off to college and live in the dorm and can't take either dog with you? Who takes care of the dogs then? Who pays the vet bills - that will now double if you get another dog? Who pays for hte food - the cost of which will double when you get another dog? I think you need to enjoy and love and take care of the dog you already have. Just because your dog isn't a puppy anymore doesn't warrant a new one!
Well, tell the that a dachshund is your favorite dog and that you want a puppy for your birthday. If they say no then, beg and cry until they say yes. lol
